Job Description

Our general dental practice is seeking a dental assistant with a strong attention to detail and a genuine desire to help patients. We are looking for an upbeat personality to join our team full-time!
The ideal person for this position is someone who is reliable, professional and has excellent communication skills. Successful candidates will also have CPR and EFDA certificates, and/or previous dental office experience.
Responsibilities

Providing great patient care and ensuring that patients are comfortable
Preparing patients and the work area for treatments and procedures
Helping with infection control by sterilizing dental instruments and operatories
Handing instruments to dentists, and suctioning during procedures
Giving patients information on proper oral care and post-operative instructions
Exposing and processing x-rays
Recording treatment information in patient records
Forming preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations for mounting study casts
Fabricating temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions

We have an excellent on-premise dental laboratory, which allows us exceptional quality control and often the ability to repair broken dentures and replace broken teeth in one day. On average we serve over 200 patients per week.
Our dental office is located in Aventura, and open from 8AM to 5PM, Monday to Thursday. The office closes from 12PM to 1:15PM for lunch.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $22.00 per hour
