Job Title: EFDA Certified Dental Assistant for Pediatric Dental Office
Overview:We are seeking a skilled EFDA certified dental assistant to join our team! The ideal candidate will assist the dental team in providing high-quality oral healthcare services to our young pediatric patients. If you are passionate about dentistry and patient care, we would love to have you on board! We have 2 offices in Bend and Redmond. We are looking for part-time employees in both offices. Full-time with benefits is also available but must work in two office locations. Pay rate varies with experience!
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and perform coronal polishing on pediatric and adolescent patients- Prepare and maintain dental instruments, equipment, and supplies- Provide patients and parents with instructions for oral healthcare procedures. Engage families with positivity and motivation for oral health care- Ensure the dental practice is clean, sterile, and organized- Take dental x-rays- Assist with dentist for routine exams and chart patient notes in electronic software- Perform four-handed dentistry techniques efficiently-Value teamwork and helping
Qualifications:- EFDA certification, and sealant certification is ideal!- Proficiency in computer charting- Knowledge of assisting in various dental procedures- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques- Experience in dentistry, especially pediatrics is a plus!

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
