Overview:
Join our dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a crucial role in providing exceptional dental care to our patients. We are seeking a skilled individual who is passionate about dentistry and patient well-being. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with our dentists to ensure efficient and high-quality dental procedures.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including four-handed dentistry techniques- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following infection control protocols- Take dental x-rays and maintain accurate records of patient x-ray information- Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions- Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs, medical history, and updating medical documentation-Took preliminary impressions to prepare for custom impressions and fabrication permanent dental work.
-Temporary crowns and bridge fabrication,placing temporary crowns, seating temporary crowns.
- Digital Impressions experience
-Design and fit dental prosthetics such as crowns, bridges, dentures, and implant retained fixed restorations
- Knowledge of dental terminology, HIPAA regulations, and general dentistry procedures- Experience in dental receptionist duties is advantageous
Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of an accredited dental assistant program preferred- X-ray certification required- Proficiency in Eaglesoft- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and team members- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multitask efficiently
