Job Description
Part time dental assistant needed in beautiful boutique dental practice in downtown San Clemente. Required days are Tuesday and Thursday. Mondays vary week to week and are optional. Enjoy lunch breaks on charming Del Mar street.
Job Duties
Assist doctor during surgeries
Setup and clean up operatories
Perform equipment sterilization and spore testing
Interface with patients and ensure their comfort while in operatory
Take patient x-rays and CBCT scans
Take patient vitals during procedures
Document treatment plans and diagnoses in dental software (currently Eaglesoft)
Perform coronal polishing as needed
Ensure consent forms are signed by patients
Keep track of supplies so new orders can be placed
Other related duties as assigned by doctor
Job Requirements
Must have at least one year of dental assistant experience
Positive, professional demeanor and attitude toward patients and staff
RDA certificate preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 per week
