Job Description
We are looking for another amazing team player to join our growing practice and awesome team! The position is for a clinical orthodontic assistant. We are looking for someone to help us deliver great care to our patients. Although orthodontic experience is of great benefit, a great personality, enthusiasm to learn and grow, and a great attitude are paramount. We are glad to train in all aspects of the job as long as you have a great attitude and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to: taking orthodontic records, placing and removing arch wires, sterilization of instruments, chair side assisting, and light administrative work (answering occasionally phone calls and facilitating patient care).
A New Jersey dental radiology license is required
A RDA or LRDA-O certification is Preferred (If certification not attained would be required to be attained )
All skill level in orthodontic treatment assisting will be considered pending the desire to learn and train on being a great orthodontic assistant
Hours will be Monday/Wednesday 1-7, Tuesday 9-5, Thursday 8- 5:30, every other Friday 7-3:30; Summer Hours are slightly different (Wednesday 8-530, Friday 7-1).
Our office has TWO locations (Clinton and Phillipsburg) and some commuting will be necessary. Hours at both locations will be available and be discussed in more detail.
Pay will be consistent with experience and certifications
