Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Dental Hygienist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality oral healthcare services to patients of all ages. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of dental hygiene techniques, and a passion for working in a fast-paced dental environment.
Duties:- Clean teeth, examine patients for oral diseases or disorders, and provide preventative dental care as needed.- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, utilizing medical documentation to track patient progress and outcomes.- Adhere to aseptic technique and follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients.- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and regular dental check-ups.
Qualifications:- A degree in dental hygiene from an accredited institution & licensure to practice as a dental hygienist in New York State- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene techniques and medical terminology.- Commitment to maintaining aseptic technique and adhering to infection control protocols.- Ability to maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $36.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 per week
