Job Description
## Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment, and ensure the dental office runs efficiently.
## Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for the proper procedures- Prepare patients for dental work- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs- Instruct patients on proper post operative care- Maintain accurate patient records and schedule appointments
- Have a team mentality and good work ethic
## Experience- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations- Familiarity with dental terminology, dental procedures and dental coding- Proficiency in PracticeWorks software is a plus but not required- Understanding of infection control protocols in a dental clinic setting-
- Hold a current X-ray certification

Job Type: Full-time
