Responsibilities:
Having a service-minded, 5-star approach to patient care
Communicating with patients with compassion and addressing their concerns
Understanding doctor treatment planning to better educate patients
Understanding the mouth-body connection to overall wellness
Documenting existing conditions and phasing new treatment accurately
Making preliminary impressions, casts, molds, & pouring up models, etc
This is a full-time, Monday-Thursday position with patient care
No nights or weekends
Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including restorative, surgical, preventive and orthodontic procedures.
Prepare and maintain instruments, materials, and equipment
Take and develop radiographs (X-rays) as needed
Provide patient education and ensure a comfortable and positive experience
Perform sterilization and infection control procedures
Manage patient records and assist with administrative tasks as needed
Candidate should be highly organized and detailed oriented.
Qualifications:
Valid Dental Assistant certification and/or equivalent credentials
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a dental assistant
Proficient in chairside assisting, radiography, and infection control
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional attention to detail and patient-focused care
