`What we’re looking for

A minimum of 1 year of pediatric DA experience is highly preferred
Radiology certifications
A warm and personable demeanor is a must !

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a dental assistant program is preferred.
DANB x-ray certification.
Experience working in a pediatric dental setting is a plus but not required.
Excellent communication skills, especially when interacting with children and parents.
As a Pediatric Assistant at Hometown Children’s Dentistry , you will play a crucial role in assisting and providing exceptional care to our pediatric patients. Your primary responsibilities will include working closely with young patients, helping with procedures, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and offering a friendly and comforting atmosphere to ensure a positive experience for our young clientele.

Duties include
- Assist during dental procedures and treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms and equipment for orthodontic procedures.
- Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment.
- Take digital impressions, X-rays, and photographs as needed.
- Provide education and instructions to pediatric patients and their parents on proper oral health care and hygiene.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Monitor and track patient progress.
- Assist with scheduling and appointment coordination.
- Help maintain a welcoming and child-friendly atmosphere in the office
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
