We are looking for a Dental Assistant with a strong passion and motivation for all things dentistry-related at our office located in the Bronx, New York. This is a full-time position.
Dental Assistants work side-by-side with the dentists, and also aid in some administrative duties in the office. They are responsible for assisting dentists and specialists during dental procedures, keeping patient records, taking x-rays of patientsââ¬â¢ teeth and several other tasks. They assist doctors in accordance with the training they have received ensuring every patient is provided with the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:
Proactively prepare operatories for upcoming dental procedures
Provide chair side assistance to the Dentist during dental examinations and treatment (4-handed dentistry)
Keep patient records (i.e. periodontal charting, etc.)
Disinfect and Sterilize instruments
Take and process x-rays including Periapical, Bitewing, Panoramic, Cephalometric, 3-D Cone Beam Scan, etc.
Take dental impressions
Pour dental models
Assist with supply inventory and ordering
Maintain a high level of customer service at all times
Perform other tasks as required
Desired skills:

High School Diploma/GED Equivalent
