Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists during procedures and perform various patient care, office, and laboratory duties.
Duties- Prepare patients for dental work- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Hand instruments to dentists during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene- Take and develop dental X-rays- Maintain accurate patient records- Schedule appointments- Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed
Skills- Strong anatomy knowledge- Proficiency in X-Ray procedures- Experience with Epic software is a plus- Familiarity with four-handed dentistry techniques- Ability to work with pediatric patients- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations- Previous experience as a dental receptionist is beneficial- Understanding of medical records management- Competence in general dentistry practices- Proficiency in aseptic technique
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.09 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 33 per week
