Overview:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dentist to join our team. As a Dentist, you will provide comprehensive dental care to patients, diagnose and treat dental conditions, and promote oral health. Duties:- Perform routine dental examinations, including oral cancer screenings and dental x-rays- Diagnose and treat dental conditions, such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth decay- Administer anesthetics to patients to minimize pain during procedures- Create treatment plans and discuss them with patients, ensuring they understand the procedures and associated costs- Perform dental procedures, such as fillings, extractions, root canals, and crowns- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care- Collaborate with dental hygienists, dental assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care- Maintain accurate medical documentation of patient visits, treatments, and progress- Stay up-to-date with advancements in dentistry and participate in continuing education programs
Qualifications:- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited dental school- Valid state dental license in good standing- Proven experience as a Dentist or in a similar role- Proficient in using dental software systems such as Dentrix, Open Dental, CAD/CAM systems for digital impressions- Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff
