Key Responsibilities:

Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and treatment rooms for dental procedures.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays).
Ensure patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatments.
Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Manage supply inventory and order dental office materials as needed.
Perform basic dental laboratory procedures.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care.

Qualifications:

Current California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
Minimum of [2 years] of experience as a Dental Assistant.
Certification in radiation safety and coronal polishing is required.
CPR and First Aid certification.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Compassionate and patient-focused approach.
Familiarity with dental software is a plus.
