OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. If you are CDA or OJT with interest in expanding dental knowledge and skills to become a RDA, we welcome you as well. Responsibilities- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental X-rays- Educate patients on proper oral healthcare- Maintain accurate patient records- Provide support to dentists in pediatric dentistry, endodontics, and other specialized areas- Utilize 3D scanners for digital impressions- Practice HIPAA compliance in all aspects of patient care- Perform four-handed dentistry techniques
Requirements- Certification or associate degree from an accredited dental assistant program- Experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or similar dental software is a plus- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry- Familiarity with assisting in pediatric dentistry and endodontic procedures- Ability to operate 3D scanners for digital impressions- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 34 per week
