Job Title: Registered Dental Hygienist
Overview:
We are looking for a Dental Hygienist that will be a part of our amazing dental team! We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist that will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health in a professional and friendly manner.
Our goal is excellence in dental care, not sales. We allot adequate appointment time for our Dental Hygienists to provide the highest quality of care and to build personal relationships with our patients.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Education/Certification:
Dental Hygiene Diploma required
Local Anesthesia Certification required
Experience working in a professional dental environment with direct patient contact desired but not required
Experience with digital radiography and Eaglesoft software are a plus

Computer proficiency and ability to learn new software
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform thorough oral hygiene assessments and provide routine dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments.
Perform scaling and root planing procedures as needed.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and the importance of regular dental check-ups.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed and assist in the diagnosis of dental conditions.
Apply preventive materials to teeth, such as sealants and fluorides.
Conduct periodontal screenings and chart conditions of decay and disease for diagnosis and treatment by the dentist.
Maintain accurate patient records and document all treatment procedures performed.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, providing support as needed.
Sterilize dental instruments and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained.
Build strong relationships with patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and well-informed about their dental care.
Stay up-to-date with the latest dental hygiene practices and technologies
