Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality dental care and promoting oral health in a professional and compassionate manner. As a Dental Hygienist, you will work closely with patients to educate them on proper oral hygiene practices and assist the dentist during examinations and procedures.
Responsibilities:- Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing- Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and preventive care- Take and develop dental x-rays- Administer local anesthetics- Assist the dentist during procedures- Maintain accurate patient records using or similar software- Sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Conduct oral cancer screenings- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
Qualifications:- Valid Dental Hygienist license- Proficiency in CAD, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar dental software- Knowledge of procedures and terminology- Familiarity with Medical documentation and HIPAA regulations- Ability to take accurate Vital signs- Excellent communication skills and bedside manner- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
