Job Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists, ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic, and providing exceptional care to our patients. Duties:- Assist dentists during examinations and treatment procedures.- Set up patient rooms and equipment for dental procedures.- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, X-rays, and impressions.- Maintain infection control protocols and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.- Handle medical coding and documentation accurately.- Provide assistance in pediatric dentistry procedures.- Uphold high standards of patient care, comfort, and safety.- Support the dental team in various administrative tasks as needed.
Skills:The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following skills:
-Spanish- Proficiency in Dentrix or similar dental practice management systems.- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols.- Experience in medical coding and documentation.- Ability to take accurate vital signs and X-rays.- Familiarity with pediatric dental procedures is a plus.- Prior experience working in a dental clinic setting is preferred.
