We are looking for stellar dental assistants You must have at least 3 years of experience and be licensed in Texas. The purpose of our group is to help people by improving their lives with better oral health and more confident smiles. We are a fee-for-service practice, we are not corporate, and we are not a dental mill herding patients in and out.

Qualifications Needed:

Ability to proficiently assist in prepping and seating crowns and veneers including packing cord.
Experience with Invisalign, checking aligner fit, and placing attachments
Able to make aesthetic well-fitting temporaries including 6 to 8 anterior teeth
Proficient with the Itero Scanner
Proficient with placing gingival barriers for office whitening

up to $27 hr depending on skills Responsibilities:

Prepare and layout sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materials inside treatment rooms for examinations and dental procedures
Adhere to all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after use
Measure and document vital signs and medical history for patient records, take x-rays of patients’ mouths, and apply a topical anesthetic for dental procedures, if needed
Schedule appointments for patient care follow up, answer any questions they may have about dental hygiene, and provide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients’ teeth and gums, after procedures
Assist dentists and dental hygienists during any procedures or examinations by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the team



Must be able to fabricate aesthetic well-fitting temporaries
Must be familiar with Invisalign including taking records, placing attachments, and scanning
Must be skilled in basic assisting such as but not limited to suctioning, packing cord, accurate notes, and explaining treatment to patients
Must pass a reference check

Qualifications:

Exceptional interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are preferred
3 years of dental assisting experience as a registered dental assistant or certified dental assistant
Must possess a current state license as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) by the Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA)
Up-to-date BLS/CPR certification is required
Proficiency with computers, and experience updating patient histories, and with dental software is necessary
