Job Description:
South O Smiles is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are a patient-focused, modern practice committed to providing top-quality dental care. Our office operates Tuesday through Friday and one Saturday per month from 8am-5pm. We are open to a full or part time hygienist allowing you to pick your schedule.
Responsibilities:

Conduct dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
Perform oral cancer screenings
Take and develop dental x-rays
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures
Maintain accurate patient records and document treatment plans
Ensure all dental instruments and equipment are properly sterilized

Qualifications:

Licensed Dental Hygienist in the state of California
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with a commitment to patient care and education
Experience with dental software (experience with Open Dental is a plus)
