Job Description

Work Hours are: Monday - Thursday from 7:30am - 4:30pm with lunch from 1-2pm.
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental x-rays- Prepare and maintain dental materials, such as cements and impression materials- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring models and trimming impressions- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient records using electronic medical records (EMR) systems like Epic- Maintain a clean and organized dental office environment while following HIPPA and OSHA Requirements
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent required- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred- X-ray certification required- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment- Familiarity with medical coding and billing processes is a plus- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
