Job Description
Dental Assistant Experience Required: Minimum 1 Year Join our team as a Dental Assistant and contribute to creating a positive and efficient dental office environment for our patients. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of dental procedures and exceptional customer service skills. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentist and ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic. Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome patients to the dental office - Assist in preparing patients for treatments or procedures, prioritizing their comfort - Set up instruments, equipment, and materials required for dental procedures - Adhere to strict sterilization protocols for instruments - Support the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques - Perform assigned laboratory tasks under supervision - Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dental treatment room - Manage patient records accurately and assist with billing processes Skills: - Proficiency as a Dental Assistant with hands-on experience - Familiarity with dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization techniques - Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and infection control practices - Experience in assisting with endodontic, prosthodontic, and pediatric procedures - Strong communication skills and ability to interact effectively with patients - Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while utilizing downtime effectively - Certification from a dental assistant program preferred - Additional certifications such as EFDAThis are advantageous If you meet the experience requirements and possess the necessary skills to excel as a Dental Assistant, we encourage you to apply for this position. Pay: $15.00 - $18.50 per hour
