Job Description

Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Take and develop dental x-rays- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Provide post-operative instructions to patients- Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records- Perform basic dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring models and trimming plaster casts- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
Experience:
- Previous experience as a dental assistant preferred- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry is a plus- Familiarity with patient assessment tools and techniques- Proficiency in computer software programs- Understanding of medical coding, documentation, and recordkeeping
