Job Description

We are a small general dentistry practice in Wilmington focused on personalized patient care for each individual. The ideal candidate should be very caring, enthusiastic, highly dedicated, reliable and responsible, skilled but always willing to learn.
Wednesdays 10 am to 6 pm. Optional Friday or other days can be arranged if desired.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Record/update medical histories on all patients seen
Complete dental charting, periodontal probing, and digital radiography
Take intraoral photos of unusual soft or hard tissue findings, existing dental and periodontal conditions of concern
Relaying all pertinent information to the dentist during the exam
Full-mouth debridement, child or adult prophylaxis or periodontal scaling and root planning
Application of topical fluoride varnish or sealants when indicated
Provide patient education and proper home care instructions
Be able to setup and clean treatment rooms as well as sterilize instruments without the aid of a dental assistant if necessary
Performing any other procedures and/or functions expected of a registered dental hygienist licensed in the state of Delaware
Requirements:
1+ years of experience as a Registered Dental Hygienist
Current Dental Hygiene License issued by State of Delaware
Active CPR certification
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $40.00 - $42.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 per week
