SmileyCuse is the go-to place in Syracuse for exceptional orthodontic care delivered in a fun, energetic, and patient-focused environment. We believe in turning up the music, having a good time, and making every smile count! Our team is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care while creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for our patients.
At SmileyCuse we see patients 3 days a week, but you’re able to schedule full time hours with our administrative days used for follow up with patients and planning for the week ahead. We start with an 8:45 morning meeting and your day ends around 4pm! You will know your schedule a year in advance and can plan for your paid vacation time!
Job Description: Are you an experienced Dental Hygienist looking for a change of pace? SmileyCuse is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Orthodontic Dental Hygienist to join our lively crew! You'll work independently but be an integral part of our super team-centric environment. Bring your energy and passion for excellent patient care to SmileyCuse and make a real difference in our patients' lives.
Responsibilities:

Assist orthodontists with patient examinations and treatments
Take panoramic x-rays & impressions
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Maintain accurate patient records

Qualifications:

Licensed Dental Hygienist in New York State
Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment
Positive attitude, energetic, and ready to bring the fun to work
Commitment to continuing education and professional development
Orthodontic experience preferred but not required, we're willing to train the right individuals!
