Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, while ensuring excellent patient care and maintaining equipment and instruments. Responsibilities- Prepare patients for dental work- Assist the dentist during procedures
- Perform prophylaxis treatment for patients- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures- Take dental x-rays- Maintain accurate patient records
Skills- Understanding of dental terminology and procedures- Ability to take X-rays- Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus- Strong organizational skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
