Our maxillofacial and cosmetic surgery office is looking for a self-motivated, Oral Surgery Assistant. The ideal candidate must be highly motivated, a TEAM player, and someone who wants to grow long term in a positive and rewarding practice. The office has a team that is second to none and our providers and staff are extremely enjoyable to work with. We are a family-oriented team that supports and uplifts one another and we're looking to bring on a positive new member to the growing office.

Normal workdays are Tuesday-Friday with some Mondays scheduled with advance notice. This is a perfect job for someone who enjoys 3-day weekends. We need the right candidate to be able to be available on Monday, but management coordinates the schedule well in advance.

The right candidate will have oral surgery and sterilization experience! There is room for growth and professional development for the right candidate. Attendance, reliability, and punctuality are required.

Responsibilities:

• Obtaining clinical history, impressions, or x-rays
• Sterilization and tray setup
• Assisting in surgical procedures
• Assisting the Doctor with medications, PMP monitoring, patient communication
• Monitoring vitals of patient
• Assist with patient recovery
• In-Office Consultations and Post Operative Follow Up
• Patient education
• Organizing and restocking supplies
• Working with EMR based system

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Dental Assisting certification
• BLS and ACLS is preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Highly motivated
• Looking for a long-term commitment
• Pay is dependent on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $29.00 - $34.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
