Job Description
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. As a Dental Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and administrative support in a dental office setting. This is a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice. Duties: - Greet patients and visitors with a warm and friendly demeanor - Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using medical scheduling software - Verify patient insurance information and collect necessary paperwork - Maintain patient records and update electronic health records using eClinicalWorks or Epic software - Assist with billing and insurance claims processing - Coordinate referrals to specialists as needed - Manage patient flow at the front desk, ensuring efficient check-in and check-out processes - Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality - Provide administrative support to dental staff as needed Skills: - Previous experience in a dental receptionist or medical administrative support role preferred - Proficient in using medical scheduling software such as eClinicalWorks or Epic - Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures is a plus - Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Customer service-oriented mindset with a friendly and professional demeanor We offer competitive pay based on experience, along with benefits such as medical insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.
