Dental Sterilization Tech (Chico)
Ever thought of entering the Dental Field? This is a ground-level opportunity! Currently seeking a Dental Sterilization Technician for our Chico office!
The Sterilization Technician works directly in providing and managing the sterilization of all dental equipment.
Primary Duties:- Maintaining the instruments and working areas in strict accordance with sterilization/ disinfection protocols.- Preparing and arranging instruments, medications and required material.- Stocking all supplies, instruments and preparing rooms.- Maintaining dental equipment and operatories in good, clean condition at all times.
Secondary Duties:- Preparing patients for dental health services and instructing them in appropriate post dental treatment, diet and oral hygiene.- Performing required laboratory procedures, i.e., pouring plaster models, etc.- Cross-training in other dental support positions as necessary- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:- High School Diploma or equivalent, GED.- Current CPR certification.- Must have reliable transportation.- Punctuality, accuracy, efficiency and professionalism.
- Possession of a valid State of California Dental X-ray license is preferred. -- Completion of a dental assist training academic program, or 1-2 years’ experience on-the-job training preferred.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

8 hour shift
