Job Description
Hello Potential Fam,Our office just turned 4 this month, and oh boy have we grown! We are looking for a full time Lead Dental Assistant, that lives our core values, and can continue to grow with us. We have just added a sleep study program to the office and we are very excited to focus more on overall health not just those pearly whites. We are privately owned and our hours are Mon, Tue, Thu, and Fri from 7:45 - 5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and support the dental assisting team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
Manage patient care, including taking and recording medical histories, preparing patients for treatments, and educating patients on oral health care.
Perform dental radiography (x-rays).
Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and procedures.
Order and manage dental supplies and inventory.
Schedule patient appointments and manage the patient flow.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Qualifications:
Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification.
Minimum of 3 years of dental assisting experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials.
Proficiency in dental software and digital radiography.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work well in a team and lead by example.
CPR certification is preferred.
