About us
Texas TMJ Sleep & Facial Pain has an opening for a take-charge decision-make Registered Dental Assistant in Southlake, TX. We are a specialist practice dedicated to Orofacial pain/TMJ and dental sleep medicine.
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during procedures- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments- Take x-ray : CBCT- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Educate patients on treatment and post-operative care- Perform receptionist duties, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and equipment- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations
Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an registered dental assistant certification- X-Ray certification- Knowledge of dental/medical terminology, procedures, and instruments- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation is a plus- Experience with Epic or other electronic medical record systems is a plus
