Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic team. This role will be either for Monday, Wednesday and Friday or full time. This role will be covering for a current hygienist who will be on maternity leave and possibly therefore after. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a crucial role in providing excellent oral care to our patients and ensuring their overall dental health.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough dental cleanings and screenings.
• Educating patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
• Removing plaque and calculus by scaling and polishing teeth.
• Performing perio-charting to send to insurance.
• Taking clear dental X-rays.
• Recording and maintaining patient treatment records.
• Practice sanitary practices throughout the day.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Dental Hygienist.
• CPR certification.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to patient care.
• Knowledge of Eaglesoft and X-ray equipment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a dental office
• Additional certifications or training with laser treatment and Arestin.
• Knowledge of infection control procedures

Salary: Salary will depend on qualifications and years of experience.
