Position Overview
As a Dental Hygienist at Harmetz Kim dentistry, you will play a critical role in delivering preventive and therapeutic dental care to our patients. Our ideal candidate is someone who values quality over quantity and is committed to fostering long-term relationships with our patients. You will work in a collaborative environment that emphasizes thorough, individualized patient care without the constraints of insurance-driven time limits.
Key Responsibilities
- Comprehensive Dental Cleanings: Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and root planing, with an emphasis on patient comfort and quality outcomes.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on effective oral hygiene practices, the importance of preventive care, and how to maintain optimal oral health.
- Dental Examinations: Conduct initial patient screenings, take a digital dental radiographs, and assist in diagnosing oral health conditions.
- Treatment Planning: Collaborate with dentists to create and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including medical histories, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Infection Control: Adhere to all protocols for infection control and practice hygiene to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
- Patient Care: Provide personalized care and build lasting relationships with patients, ensuring they feel valued and well-cared for.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree).
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental practice, preferably in a fee-for-service setting.
