Job Description
Do you love working with children and have a passion for oral health?
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Pediatric Dentist to join our team for one day a week. In this role, you will play a crucial role in providing a positive dental experience for children of all ages, while ensuring their oral health needs are met.
Responsibilities:
Perform comprehensive dental examinations for infants, children, and adolescents.
Provide preventive dental care, including cleanings, fluoride treatments, and sealants.
Diagnose and treat a variety of pediatric dental conditions, such as cavities, gum disease, and tooth development problems.
Perform restorative procedures, such as fillings and crowns, in a child-friendly manner.
Educate children and their parents on proper oral hygiene habits.
Collaborate with referring dentists and our dental team to provide optimal care.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.
Completion of a post-doctoral residency program in pediatric dentistry.
Active dental license in good standing and certification by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) preferred.
Experience working with children in a dental setting.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patience skills.
Ability to create a calming and fun environment for young patients.
