**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in various dental procedures and possess knowledge of medical documentation systems. **Responsibilities:**
- Assist dentists during procedures, including pediatric and prosthodontic treatments
- Take DIGITAL dental X-rays
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation
- Prepare patients for treatment by reviewing medical history
- Provide chairside assistance for general dentistry procedures
- Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed
- Utilize Dentrix AND DEXIS software for patient management
**Qualifications:**
- Certificate or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program
- Experience in a dental clinic setting preferred
- Proficiency in taking X-rays and managing medical documentation
- Knowledge of prosthodontics, general dentistry, and pediatric dentistry
- Familiarity with Dentrix software is a plus
- Strong understanding of infection control practices
- Excellent communication AND Organization skills and ability to work in a team environment
