Job Description

We are expanding! We just added two new providers and are looking for a dental assistant to join our team and grow with us.
Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist during dental procedures- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment- Take and develop dental x-rays- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation- Ensure infection control protocols are followed- Schedule patient appointments and manage patient flow
Skills:- Proficient in medical imaging techniques, including dental x-rays- Knowledge of pediatric dental care and techniques- Familiarity with dental assisting procedures and techniques- Strong understanding of human anatomy as it relates to dentistry- Ability to maintain infection control standards and follow HIPAA guidelines- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry- Ability to take and record vital signs accurately- Proficient in medical documentation and record keeping
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist with various procedures, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a clean and safe environment. Your skills in medical imaging, pediatric care, dental assisting techniques, anatomy knowledge, infection control, HIPAA compliance, medical terminology, vital signs monitoring, and medical documentation will be essential in providing quality care to our patients.
