Job Summary:Tired of the grind and burn approach of the corporate dental world? Davis Family Dental is a brand new private practice right here in West Bend! We are seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and assist with dental procedures, as well as perform front desk duties as needed, in a friendly and patient-focused dental office environment. Duties including:- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations- Assist dentist during dental procedures- Take digital dental x-rays- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices- Manage patient records and appointments- Perform front desk duties as needed such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, processing payments and insurance claims, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:- Certificate or diploma from an accredited dental assistant program- X-ray certification- Knowledge of Open Dental, Dentrix, or similar dental software- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Professionally appropriate appearance and personal hygiene
