Compensation: $45-$49 based on experience
As a dental hygienist, you will be a key member of the team charged with being an expert in educating patients in proper oral hygiene techniques. You will be communicating with patients, administration and dentist in the process of helping patients maximize benefits under their insurance plan. You’ll be an integral part of our team and will help be a part of providing excellent dental care to our valued patients
Position Mission

This job is for a dental hygienist for a thriving and growing private dental office with a stellar reputation (look us up!). At least one year of experience working in the dental field is ideal, but new grads will be considered. The job will involve patient education, removal of plaque and calculus to ensure heathy gingiva and identifying and communicating disease to the dentist and the front from further treatment. Our perfect candidate is friendly, caring, conscientious and hard-working, with a warm, bubbly personality.

KPI / Performance Metrics

Maintain a reappointment rate of >95%
Complete >95% of planned daily patient codes

Required Qualifications

Licensure and capability to anesthetize patients and successfully complete SRP
Ability to identify caries and communicate to administration and dentist appropriate treatment

Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology

Job Responsibilities

Complete planned hygiene appointments on time
Place existing and treatment codes in Dentrix
Complete an accurate perio chart once per year per patient
Maintain clean and organized sterilization area
Maintain clean and orderly perio suite
Maintain sharp and sterile perio instrumentation
Complete a proper and accurate note
Ability to educate and encourage patients to get the dental treatment they need
He/she must be a positive role model for other staff by working with them to promote teamwork and cooperation.
