Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice ONE Saturday/month. We usually either work the 2nd or the 3rd Saturday of the month. The hours are from 7:45-2. The Hygienist will have an assistant most of the time to help with room setup and breakdown and to assist in taking xrays if needed. The ideal candidate should have a passion for oral health and patient care, with a strong background in dental assisting and dental documentation and be a team player.
Responsibilities:- Perform dental cleanings and assist dentists during procedures- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care- Take dental x-rays using Dentrix- Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation- Provide support in dental office management tasks
Experience:- Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist- Proficiency in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge- Familiarity with dental clinic operations and procedures- Strong background in dental assisting and medical imaging- Excellent communication skills and patient care abilities
