Job Description

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will take impressions on patients independently, scan with Trios 3Shape, assist dentists with various procedures and provide excellent patient care in a dental clinic setting. Some front desk required and will train.
**Duties:**
- Appoint patients for procedures and follow-up
- Collect from patients at time of service and explain insurance reimbursement
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during procedures such as fillings, extractions, and crowns
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
- Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical documentation systems like Dentrix
- Perform dental assisting duties in various procedures such as restorative, oral surgery and endodontics.
**Requirements:**
- Completion of a Registered Dental Assistant program or relevant certification
- Experience working with 3D scanners for dental impressions
- Knowledge of coding for dental procedures
- Familiarity with dentistry practices
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and staff

Job Type: Part-time
