Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist/Dental Assistant to work Mondays, Wednesdays, & Fridays. The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills and be proficient in computer usage. As the first point of contact for our office, the Front Desk Receptionist/Dental Assistant plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service.
Expected Duties to include, but not limited to:
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional and friendly manner- Answer and direct phone calls promptly- Handle and sterilize instruments, setting up/breaking down rooms- Manage office tasks such as filing, copying, and scanning documents- Take high quality x-rays- Schedule appointments and assist with customer inquiries- Verify insurances, collect payments
Qualifications:
- 2 year experience in the dental industry both in the front and back office- Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles is preferred- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively- X-ray certification (required)- Experience in verifying dental insurance
