Job Description

**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide quality dental care to our patients. **Duties:** - Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures - Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment - Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs - Take and develop dental x-rays (if certified) - Educate patients on proper oral healthcare - Maintain accurate patient records **Skills:** The ideal candidate should possess the following skills: - Proficiency in Dentrix software - Knowledge of medical imaging techniques - Familiarity with dental clinic operations - Ability to maintain aseptic techniques and infection control protocols - Understanding of HIPAA regulations - Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus - Knowledge of dental terminology - Previous experience as a dental receptionist is beneficial - Familiarity with endodontic procedures This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, enhance your skills, and contribute to the well-being of our patients.
