Job Description
Overview:
We are looking for a Dental Hygienist in our PDA Manhattan office located at 150 Broadway, Suite 1310, New York, New York 10038 to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. Our practice has been open for over 30 years and has a wonderful staff in place.
Compensation: $55-$56/hour plus monthly incentive bonus.
Schedule: Monday to Thursday 7:45am to 6:00pm with 30 minutes of lunch.
Patients per day: 11
Appointment times: Recall 50 minutes, new patients 60 minutes, SRP 60 minutes.
We have been working diligently to ensure all our patients and staff feel safe and protected while in our office. We have all the proper PPE for the staff and are CDC COVID-19 compliant.

Responsibilities:
Essential Responsibilities
Through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services, Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times
Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment, oral hygiene care, education, and search engine optimization strategies in accordance with guidelines approved, issued, and regulated by the state in which they work.
Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
Other duties as assigned

Desired Skills:
Active Hygiene license for the state you applied, including proficiency in search engine optimization, required
