Our office is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Dental Hygienist who is driven, positive and interested in joining our growing progressive practice. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing preventive and educational services to our patients, ensuring their dental hygiene and overall wellbeing.
Responsibilities:

Conduct professional dental cleanings, including scaling, root planing, and polishing to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from teeth surfaces.
Take and develop dental x-rays as needed for diagnostics and treatment planning.
Administer local anesthetics and apply fluoride treatments to promote oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and maintaining a balanced diet for optimal oral health.
Perform periodontal assessments and assist in identifying signs of gum diseases.
Collaborate with the dentist to develop personalized treatment plans for patients' dental needs.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment notes and progress reports.
Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized treatment environment.
Build and maintain positive relationships with patients, addressing their concerns and answering their questions.
Assist in scheduling appointments and managing patient recall systems.

Qualifications:

Valid Dental Hygiene license
Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program.
Strong knowledge of oral anatomy, dental hygiene procedures, and oral health best practices.
Proficiency in using dental tools and equipment, including x-ray machines and dental software.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and engage patients effectively.
Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate patient records.
Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and safety measures.
Previous experience as a Dental Hygienist
