Your typical work includes the following:
Answering a multi-line phone and providing helpful, accurate responses to inquiries by patients and doctors.
Optimize and oversee full cycle from new patient inquiries to securing booked appointments and charge capture.
Managing calendars for multiple doctors- ensuring that patientsââ¬â¢ appointments, cancellations, rescheduling, last-minute adjustments, requests, and other issues are handled appropriately to ensure a) patient satisfaction b) meet dentistry goals c) help meet goals of the practice.
Insurance verification, manage proper filing of insurance and act as liaison between patient and insurance companies including: assisting patients with insurance processing, calculating insurance/patient portion, working with patients with affordable payment plan options, insurance claim submissions.
Understanding the business and facilitating the attainment of its ongoing goals and growth.
The prompt, gracious greeting, and registration of arriving patients
Build and develop ongoing relationship with new and existing patients to grow reputation and generate revenue
Ensure file organization based on office protocol
Qualifications
At least 5-10 years of experience as a Dental Receptionist or Dental Receptionist/Office Manager
A four-year college degree, with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
Excellent phone skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Candidate should be an independent thinker, organized, self-motivated, adaptable, able to take the initiative, with a positive attitude
Experience with Dental software
Experience with Microsoft Office

Compensation package: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
