Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our team. As a Dental Hygienist, you will play a vital role in providing quality oral healthcare to our patients. This position requires knowledge of dental office procedures and the ability to work with various age groups, including pediatrics.
Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Conduct oral health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Take dental x-rays and intra-oral photos

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide oral health instructions
- Administer local anesthesia
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using electronic medical record systems
- Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy and confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Valid Dental Hygiene license in CA
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Hygiene program
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
