Job Description
We are looking for a full time Registered Dental Hygienist (Monday-Thursday) 8:30 AM- 4:30PM
Licensed in the State of New Mexico
The ideal candidate would be a skillful, energetic, intelligent, team oriented Registered Dental Hygienist who will join our remarkable team of dental professionals. Excellent customer service and attention to detail are required for this position. Experience with Open Dental/ Dexis is helpful not not a must to apply. Salary is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities
Welcome patients in the dental office
Prepare patients for treatments or checkups ensuring their comfort
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Undertake lab tasks as instructed
Perform the duties of a dental hygienist, prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, radiographs, intraoral photos, etc...
Provide oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental room clean and well-stocked
Schedule appointments
Maintain accurate patient records
Skills
Proven experience as dental hygienist
License to provide local anesthetic for periodontal treatment
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
Understanding of health & safety regulations
Good computer skills
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail
Well-organized and reliable
