Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess a strong knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures- Set up and prepare equipment and instruments- Take dental X-rays- Provide patients with instructions for oral care following dental treatment procedures- Maintain accurate patient records- Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations in the dental field- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations- Experience in dental imaging techniques- Previous work as a dental assistant is a plus- Ability to take accurate X-rays- Understanding of dental terminology- Skilled in dental documentation
- Indiana Dental Radiology License preferred
