Our RDH is retiring after 22 years and we would love to continue with a new hygienist who will be just as loved by her patients! Our team is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care in a warm and welcoming environment. With a focus on both family and cosmetic dentistry, our practice is committed to helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. We are currently seeking a compassionate and outgoing Dental Hygienist to join our team with the flexibility to work either Monday to Wednesday or Monday to Thursday. Schedule: Monday to Wednesday or Monday to Thursday 7:30-5
Responsibilities:

Perform dental cleanings and preventive procedures, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, to remove plaque, tartar, and stains from patients' teeth.
Conduct comprehensive oral hygiene assessments and screenings to identify signs of periodontal disease, oral cancer, and other dental conditions.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and dietary habits, to promote oral health and prevent dental problems.
Take digital dental X-rays, intraoral scans and intraoral photographs as necessary for diagnostic purposes and treatment planning.
Administer fluoride treatments, apply dental sealants, and assist with other preventive procedures as needed.
Record and maintain accurate patient treatment records, including periodontal charting, medical histories, and treatment plans.
Follow infection control protocols and maintain sterilization and disinfection procedures for dental instruments and equipment.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient patient flow and exceptional patient care experiences.
Foster a warm and welcoming atmosphere, greeting patients with a smile and addressing their concerns with empathy and professionalism.

Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program and current state licensure.
Previous experience as a dental hygienist preferred but not required; new graduates are welcome to apply.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a friendly and positive attitude.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to educate and empower patients to take control of their oral health.
Proficiency in dental software systems and electronic health records is a plus.
CPR certification required.
