Our outstanding dental practice is seeking an exceptional Dentist for an opportunity to join our dedicated team.
Who We Are
We are a high quality, long-established ( 43 years ) private office located in the city of Torrance, Ca.
Who We're Looking For
At present, we are looking for a general dentist for one day per week, either Tuesdays or Wednesdays. The number of days may be increased in the near future depending on the doctor's availability.
Responsibilities and requirements:
It is necessary that the applicant be able to meet the following requirements:
1. Must be a graduate of a four-year US dental school. A graduate of a foreign dental school should not apply for this job.
2. Must have at least four years of experience working as a general dentist.
3. Must be proficient in doing first molar root canals with rotary Machines as well as lateral condensation technics. we use CybronEndo rotary machine in our office with apex locator. Ability to do second molar endo would be welcomed but not mandatory.
4. Must be proficient in extracting non-impacted third molars.
5. Must be able to provide proper diagnosis for adults and children
6.Must be proficient in the restorative segment of implant. Proficiency in the surgical segment of implant would be welcomed but is not mandatory.
7. The doctor must be self-motivated and a team player with warm and friendly chair side manners.
8. Must be gentle in administering injections
9. Available days are either Tuesdays or Wednesdays, 9 AM to 6 PM with one hour lunch breaks. The doctor may choose either one of those weekdays.
10. Our office has a very warm and friendly environment. We never double book patients. We only appoint one patient at a time, So our office has an easy, no-rush atmosphere.
11. We have no HMO or Dentical patients. Only PPO and private cash patients. We are also a panel dental office for two unions.
12. Compensation will be a flat per diem amount, commensurate with the doctor's experience and performance. It would range between $550 to $700 per day.
13. The doctor hired will be a contract labor and will receive a 1099 form each year.
