Registered Dental Hygienist
Responsibilities:- Attend work as dental hygienist from 7:30am to 5pm Monday through Thursday. Business hours are 8am to 5pm, but we hold morning huddles at 7:33am daily- Greet patients and provide excellent customer service for desirable patient experience- Provide exceptional, comforting, and thorough dental hygiene services to patients- Take radiographs of diagnostic quality and assist the doctor in charting and treatment planning- Take intraoral scans using iTero scanner- Administer N2O- Ability to administer local anesthetics is a plus- Understand and promote orthodontic treatment needs- Follow in-office perio protocol for both adult and pediatric care- Enjoy treating patients of all ages- Be able to handle or be willing to manage behavioral challenges in pediatric patients- Assist with patient intake, ensuring accuracy of information- Work with the front desk to process insurance pre-authorizations and claims- Handle patient complaints or concerns, escalating to management when necessary- Maintain a clean and organized hygiene operatory area- Contact patients for follow up's and scheduling- Be proactive about communicating with the rest of the team to make sure that your needs are understood and that you are able to provide help where needed- Be accountable for showing up on time and completing expected tasks- Take ownership of the hygiene department-related topics for team meetings- Be adaptable to changes and needs of the office
Requirements:- Previous experience as a registered dental hygienist- Familiarity with dental office operations and Eaglesoft software- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a patient care environment- Proficient in using computers and basic office software
As a dental hygienist, you will be the primary contact point for our patients. They see you and get to enjoy you for a whole hour during their visits. Doctor plays a relatively small part in their patient journey, and your interaction with them can define their experience at our office. Your friendly demeanor, hygiene procedural skills, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail will ensure that our patients have a positive experience in your chair. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
